Matcha Biscuit Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. ½ cup (100g) butter, (room temperature)
  2. ½ cup (80g) powdered sugar
  3. Pinch of salt
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1 cup (150g) flour
  6. ½ tsp baking powder
  7. 1-2 tsp Aprika culinary matcha powder
  8. 2/3 (80g) chocolate chips (Optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven at 350°F (180℃)
  2. Whisk butter and sugar together till creamy
  3. Add in egg, continue to whisk
  4. Sift in flour, baking powder, matcha powder and mix with spatula.
  5. Optional: Add in the chocolate chips
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of batter onto the baking sheet lined with baking paper
  7. Bake for about 10-15 mins or until the rims turn golden.
  8. Enjoy!
