Q: How can I make a Matcha green tea iced latte similar to Starbucks?
We like this recipe. It is pretty close to the Starbucks Latte flavor.
- 1 tsp pure matcha green tea powder
- 1 cup almond milk. Starbucks uses vanilla-flavored soy milk.
- 1-2 tsp sugar, dissolved in a small amount of hot water
- ice
- whipped cream (optional)
It's delicious!
Iced Matcha Latte
Fill a big glass with almond milk or vanilla flavored soy milk.
Add dissolved sugar and tea powder. It's best to warm your milk and powder mix to dissolve it. Stir and fill with ice. Add whipped cream for a fancy look and taste.
Hot Matcha Latte
This makes a delicious hot green tea latte. Heat almond milk in a pan until hot. Add sugar and matcha. Stir and add whipped cream. Yum!
