Mint and chocolate are a comforting pairing for many of us. We still remember how exciting a peppermint chocolate milkshake used to be. Years have gone by, but some pairings remain timeless. To bring a creative layer to this recipe, we experimented with matcha green tea. It always adds an interesting flavor, making this easy recipe a perfect blend of nostalgia and matcha. Let's begin!

Recipe Note
An Easy Midday Pick-Me-Up
We love this drink because it feels both nostalgic and trendy at the same time. Mint and chocolate remain a classic pairing for a reason, and when combined with matcha, the result feels fresh without losing that nostalgic comfort. The cool mint, deep cocoa notes, and grassy matcha come together in a way that feels so easy to enjoy.
If you’d like a bit of texture, a small handful of chocolate chips adds a satisfying crunch and makes it feel a little more indulgent. This is a great recipe to keep on hand for a midday matcha, refreshing, flavorful, and just sweet enough to feel like a treat without being heavy.
