Ingredients

1 tsp Hojicha powder

2–3 tbsp hot water (not boiling)

1 cup milk of choice

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1–2 tsp maple syrup, honey, or brown sugar (to taste)

Optional: Pinch of sea salt

Optional: 1 small cinnamon stick for garnish
Directions
Prepare the hojicha
Sift the ground Hojicha Powder into a mug or bowl, add hot water, and whisk until smooth.
Warm the milk
Pour the milk or milk alternative into a small saucepan. Add the ground cinnamon powder.
Heat over medium-low, stirring often, until hot and fragrant. Do not boil.
Sweeten
Stir the sweetener and optional pinch of salt into the milk until dissolved.
Combine
Pour the warm cinnamon milk into the prepared hojicha tea. Stir to combine.
Serve
