Homemade Gingerbread Spice Blend

Directions
Heat the milk:
Warm ¾ cup of your milk of choice in a saucepan over low–medium heat or in the microwave until hot but not boiling.
Prepare the matcha mixture:
Sift 1 tsp matcha powder into a small bowl.
Add ½ tsp gingerbread spice.
Pour in 2–3 tbsp of hot, not boiling (175°F / 80°C) water.
Whisk with a bamboo matcha whisk in a quick “M” motion until smooth and slightly foamy.
Add flavoring:
Stir ½ tsp blackstrap molasses into the matcha mixture until fully dissolved.
Add sweetener (maple syrup, simple syrup, or honey) if desired.
Froth & combine:
Froth the hot milk using a handheld frother or whisk until creamy and lightly foamy.
Assemble the latte:
Pour the matcha mixture into your mug.
Pour the frothy, heated milk over the matcha tea mixture.
Serve:
For a Café-style Gingerbread Latte: Top with a swirl of whipped cream and finish with a dusting of cinnamon or gingerbread spice for a festive look and extra flavor.
